Use this handy online wizard and "copy & paste" the meta-tags into the HTML of the source of your index page. After adding the meta-tags to your page, check if the meta-tags are correct by using the Website Analyzer.

Keywords

Describe your page in 20 different keywords. These keywords will be used to categorize your page. Seperate with a comma-space (use no more than a 1000 characters)
 

ROBOT-tag (optional)

The Robots Tag tells to the search engine spider which pages you want him to index. Use the index-follow tag so that the search engine spider will go through every page of your website.

The Revisit Tag defines after how many days or months the search engine spider should revisit your website.

Abstraction

Fill out the 3 most important and relevant keywords of the page you add meta-tags to. Seperate the 3 words with a comma and a space.

Fill out all the data and hit the 'Generate Meta-Tags' button.

Copy this text to the HEAD-part of your page(s) (Mark the text and copy it with Ctrl-C, then paste it in your page(s) with Ctrl-V)

You've made metatags? Put these tags in your first page. Normally this page is called index.html, index.htm, default.html or default.htm.
